What exactly do you get with a custom wedding song from Cantavals?
Before you pay, you hear a free preview of your own song. For 89 € you get two complete versions, your written lyrics, an MP3 download, your song page, 2 included rewrites and 3 extra songs in your account. A studio-quality WAV and an instrumental are paid extras, both included in The Whole Evening.

If you are planning a wedding from abroad, or sending the files to a DJ in another country, this page walks through each item: where it sits on your song page, which button gets it, and what to do with it.
What is free, and what do you pay for?
The preview is free. Once you finish your story with Trilo, you hear the opening of your own song, with your lyrics and in the style you picked. It stays free whatever you decide.
The full song is what you pay for. "Your First Dance" is one song for 89 €. A song for a marriage proposal or for your wedding anniversary costs the same.
Your song page also offers two extras, each with an "Add" button:
- Studio-quality WAV, for both versions.
- Instrumental version: your song without vocals.
"The Whole Evening" costs 299 € and is for weddings only. It covers three complete songs: the first dance, the entrance and one more moment you choose, each with its own 2 rewrites. The WAV comes with all three, and the instrumental with the main song.
Every paid order also adds 3 new songs to your account, which you can use for more songs from your story.
What are the two complete versions?
After payment your song page shows two versions, labelled A and B. Same lyrics, different performance. Play both, pick the one you want to dance to, and download either or both.
If you ask for rewrites, every take stays on the page, each with both versions. The "Keep this take" button makes one of them your main song, and the main song is the one in your downloads.
How do the included rewrites work?
You have 2 rewrites included. Use the "Rewrite my song" button on your song page after payment; the page shows how many you have left.
Tell us what to change: the music, the voice or the words. We can keep the lyrics and redo only the music, swap a few words, or rewrite the lyrics from scratch. You can change the mood, the rhythm or a detail of the story.
When the included rewrites are used up, the page points you to the bonus songs in your account: brand-new songs from the same story.
What file format do you get, and what do you send the DJ or the band?
You download the song from its page with the "Download MP3" button. Send that MP3 to your DJ, your videographer or whoever runs the sound at the venue.
If the DJ or the venue asks for WAV, add the "Studio-quality WAV". It is the format DJs commonly ask for, and it holds up to cuts and processing without loss.
If you have a live band, they can learn the song and play it live, while you keep the recording. The "Instrumental version" gives you the song without vocals: for the entrance, for the wedding film, or for your band's singer to perform over.
Your lyrics are written out on the song page under "Your lyrics", ready to copy for the singer.
Can you use the song at the wedding, in your video and on social media?
Yes, all three, for personal use. Our Terms (section 2) grant a personal license covering playback at private events, including your wedding, use in your personal photos and videos, and posting on your personal social media accounts.
Commercial use is not included: selling the song, licensing it to others, or using it in advertising.
What does a personal, non-exclusive license mean?
On delivery you receive a license that is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable, worldwide and with no end date. Line by line:
- Personal: for you and your private moments.
- Non-exclusive: it does not give you exclusive rights over the musical composition. The reason, and what we commit to instead, are below.
- Non-transferable: you cannot sell it or license it on to someone else.
- Worldwide, no end date: it does not expire, and it works wherever your wedding is.
Our Terms say this plainly: music generated entirely with AI is not eligible for copyright, so we do not promise exclusive copyright over the composition. What we do commit to: your song is not resold and not composed again for another customer, and your story does not end up in anyone else's song.
What does a finished song sound like, start to finish?
