Refund Policy

Our promise

If your song doesn't move you, you don't pay. Request a refund within 14 days of delivery and we will return 100% of what you paid: no justification needed, no forms, no friction.

Used rewrites don't affect your right to a refund. Add-ons (WAV, instrumental) are refunded together with the song.

If technical issues delay your delivery beyond 24 hours, you are entitled to an immediate full refund, regardless of the 14-day window.

How to ask for a refund

Reply to your delivery email or write to us at hello@cantavals.com. One line is enough, and you do not have to explain why.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5 business days of the request. How long it then takes for the money to actually show up in your account is up to your bank, usually another 2 to 5 days.

Before you open a dispute with your bank

If something went wrong, write to us first, at hello@cantavals.com. We usually solve it far faster than the banking process takes, and you are not left with your money frozen for weeks while paperwork travels between institutions. It is not a condition and it limits none of your rights: it is simply the shorter road.

What happens to the song after a refund

Once the money is returned, the license over the song ends: the song is no longer yours to use and its page is deactivated. It is the natural flip side of money back, and it is written the same way in the Terms, section 2.

Files you have already downloaded stay on your device, of course; we just ask that you no longer use them publicly.

Your statutory rights are untouched

The guarantee above is a commercial guarantee: it is granted in addition to, and does not affect, the rights the law gives you. Separately from it you have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Romanian GEO no. 34/2014 (set out in the Terms, section 5) and the digital-content conformity rights under Romanian GEO no. 141/2021: bringing the content into conformity, a proportionate price reduction, or termination of the contract.

In practice you never have to choose between them. You send us one message, and we refund you on whichever ground is more favourable to you.
