The story behind the song

We met in a tiny jazz bar in Edinburgh where I played piano on Thursdays. Daniel requested the one song I didn't know, 'Moon River', so I improvised it badly and he stayed until closing to tell me it was the best wrong version he'd ever heard. He proposed three years later with a vinyl of Moon River and the ring taped to the sleeve. Our first dance should feel like that bar: warm, a little jazzy, just us and a piano.
